Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will return to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans for a second year in a row. Accepting an invitation from Automobile Club de l’Quest and General Motors, Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will field the No. 101 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R Hypercar in part of a three-car effort from Cadillac Racing that includes the No. 12 and 38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R World Endurance Challenge (WEC) efforts. The trio of drivers piloting the No. 101 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R include Ricky Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque, the same lineup from the team’s first entry last year.
“We are excited to have been invited back to be one of the three Cadillac Racing factory cars,” said Wayne Taylor, Team Co-Owner. “We learned a lot and have more to learn. Being one team, we will have GM and JOTA’s support. It is an honor to be asked by Cadillac to compete on their behalf and we are grateful to be given a second chance to win the race overall for ourselves and for GM. Everyone wants to win this race and to win as a team owner, with Cadillac, these drivers and this team, would be very special.”
During Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing’s debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025, the No. 101 Cadillac team started from 14th position and were ready to challenge forward when a mechanical issue cut their race short, ultimately finishing 21st. After their first 24 Hours of Le Mans experience, the team will arrive in France with a refreshed perspective as Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing seeks another chance at the “crown jewel” of sports car racing.
“We’re proud to have Wayne Taylor Racing return to Le Mans with Cadillac and General Motors and build on what we learned in our first appearance," said Dan Towriss, CEO, TWG Motorsports. "This race represents the highest standard in endurance racing, and coming back as part of the Cadillac Racing effort reflects our belief in what we can accomplish together.”
The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place on June 13-14, 2026.
