Kyle Marcelli will join Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti in a full-time capacity as the full season co-driver of the No. 45 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Marcelli has won back-to-back Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America PRO Drivers’ Championship with teammate Danny Formal. In route to the PRO Drivers’ Championship in 2023, Marcelli and co-driver Danny Formal swept wins in the first eight races of the season along with two wins at the final LST North America rounds at Vallelunga in Italy.
The Canadian-native became a regular face in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competing in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup alongside teammate Formal and Ashton Harrison behind the wheel of the Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 for all four events, even delivering a pole position in the GTD Class for the Twelve Hours of Sebring. Marcelli’s racing resume includes victories in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, SRO GT World Challenge America, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, European Le Mans Series, and more.
Danny Formal will return to Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti as the full season co-driver of the No. 45 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Alongside teammate Kyle Marcelli, Formal has won two consecutive Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America PRO Drivers’ Championship title with WTRAndretti. Through the 2023 campaign to their PRO Drivers’ Championship, Formal and Marcelli swept victory overall in the opening eight rounds of competition followed up two wins at the final North America rounds at the Grand Finals weekend in Vallelunga, Italy to lock in the title.
Formal’s racing history began at the age of five and he quickly became a National Champion in Costa Rica in the Four-Cycle Endurance and Indoor Karting championship. The Costa Rican’s success grew as he progressed through the karting ranks in both Costa Rica and the U.S., launching into sports cars in 2020. Formal expanded his racing resume with WTRAndretti as the team entered the GTD field behind the wheel of the No. 93 Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 for the 2023 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, including the 24 Hours at DAYTONA.
Joining Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti and their commitment to driver development, Graham Doyle earned his first career motorsports experience with the team’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo LB Cup class for 2023. In his rookie debut with WTRAndretti in the LB Cup Class of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series, the 17-year-old was able to contend for podiums right away and earned his first LB Cup class victory at Road America and went on to become the Vice Champion in his class. For 2024, Doyle will continue to expand his sportscar racing resume to join WTRAndretti as the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup co-driver in the No. 45 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
As Doyle approaches new tracks each weekend, he utilizes his skills from the WTRAndretti and personal simulator to gain experience and knowledge for the event ahead.
Ashton Harrison returns to Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti for the Rolex 24 At Daytona in the No. 45 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Recently competing with WTRAndretti and Racers Edge Motorsports in both the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup and Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS PRO Championship. Harrison, joined alongside by 2022 co-driver Mario Farnbacher for a second season, earned Vice Champion honors in the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS PRO Championship – highlighted by two wins and five podiums. Expanding her portfolio in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Harrison co-piloted the No. 93 Harrison Contracting Company Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 alongside LST teammates Kyle Marcelli and Danny Formal for the four endurance events, including her debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona and hometown race of Petit Le Mans in 2023.
Harrison previously completed in a four-year stint the Lamborghini Super Trofeo (LST) North America Championship with WTRAndretti, where she became the first female to win a Lamborghini World Finals race. In 2021, Harrison completed the HPD Academy and won the Pro-Am class in the SRO Indianapolis 8 Hour Intercontinental GT Challenge in her GT3 debut. Harrison made her IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut at the 2022 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in the Racers Edge Motorsports with WTRAndretti No. 93 Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22, earning a top-10 finish in GTD PRO with co-drivers Kyle Marcelli and Tom Long.
