Danny Formal

Danny Formal

Danny Formal will return to Wayne Taylor Racing as the full season co-driver of the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 for the team’s third year in GTD within the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. 2025 marked a break-through year for the Wayne Taylor Racing GTD team as they collected their first class victory at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. In 2024, Danny Formal awarded the team their first sprint race GTD pole position at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and the only IMSA pole position for Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s GTD entries on the season. Throughout the last two years, Formal operated in “double duty” fashion competing with both the GTD class as well as in Lamborghini Super Trofeo PRO class championship. Formal has won three Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America PRO Drivers’ Championship titles and collected his first LST World Finals Championship in Misano, Italy in 2025.

Formal’s racing history began at the age of five and he quickly became a National Champion in Costa Rica in the Four-Cycle Endurance and Indoor Karting championship. The Costa Rican’s success grew as he progressed through the karting ranks in both Costa Rica and the U.S., launching into sports cars in 2020.

Like his teammate, Formal, Doyle completed “double duty” throughout 2025 in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America AM class, earning his first LST North America Championship in the AM class. First joining Wayne Taylor Racing in 2023 with their commitment as a team to driver development, Graham Doyle earned his first career motorsports experience with the team’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo LB Cup class for 2023.
