The pair of Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti (WTRAndretti) Acura ARX-06 GTP teams have seen the field set for Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. The 15-minute session became a bit tricky when a red flag flew right just about halfway through the session, only allowing a few minutes remaining to lay down a lap time.

Ricky Taylor, No. 10 WTRAndretti Acura ARX-06:

“I think we showed the car is strong, we’ve got good pace in our Acura this weekend. It’s a shame to miss out on the pole, but I think we could take a fast car any day. I’m really proud of the team for getting us such a good car, and we’ll transfer it for 12 hours tomorrow.”

Louis Delétraz, No. 40 WTRAndretti Acura ARX-06:

“Happy with the result, especially with a tough day yesterday with a lot of new components on the car. Everyone on the No. 40 DEX Imaging Acura ARX-06 crew did a great job to put it together and make it run for qualifying, so we were taking as a test session as well as a performance session. In the end, it’s still P3 and a good position to race for the 12 hours. Now, we’re going to focus on the race car.”
