Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing’s duo of the No. 10 and No. 40 Cadillac V-Series.R GTPs took on WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to set the field for the Monterey SportsCar Championship. It was the pair of Taylor brothers who controlled qualifying in their respective Cadillac V-Series.R GTPs for the 15-minute qualifying session.
Both Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing teams opted for an install lap before returning to pit lane for a fresh set of sticker tires. In the No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R GTP, Ricky Taylor navigated the 2.238-mile road course pushing the blue chrome No. 10 to the limit and ultimately landing the fourth place on the starting grid with a time of 01:13.032. Saturday’s qualifying saw the No. 10 the highest Cadillac V-Series.R in qualifying and their best start for 2025. As for Jordan Taylor in the No. 40 Cadillac V-Series.R GTP, a tightly competitive field proved challenging for a fast lap time around the tricky Laguna Seca road course. Taylor’s fastest time 01:13.368 earned him seventh to start Sunday’s race.
The pair of Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R GTPs will see the green flag fly at 12:10 p.m. PT (3:10 p.m. ET) for the first traditional two-hour, 40-minute sprint race. All action for the Monterey SportsCar Championship will be broadcast on NBC.

Ricky Taylor, full season co-driver, No. 10 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “I think for the struggles we’ve been through this year just getting up to speed with the car and getting to work with all our friends at Cadillac Racing, it’s nice to be right there with the top group. I think it’s on us to execute tomorrow, but it’s really motivating to be heading in the right direction, gaining confidence with the car. The car has proven it can do the job. For us, it’s great to start gelling with it.”
Jordan Taylor, full season co-driver, No. 40 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “It’s a little bit better than what we’ve been in the first few races, so that’s a positive. I think we’re still missing a bit from the front guys. It’s a relatively long race, so hopefully we can do something in the pits. It’s a tough track to pass, traffic is difficult, so I think you can make a lot of things happen in this race. We’ll do what we can in the pits and make some moves there and hopefully maximize in traffic.”
