Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing ignites the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with the 64th Running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. WTR holds four victories at the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s most iconic event, taking home the checkered flag in 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021, with Team Co-Owner, Wayne Taylor, having also earned two of his own Rolex 24 wins as a driver in 1996 and 1998. Preparations for the round the clock endurance event begin with the annual Roar Before the Rolex 24’s three days of testing this weekend.
Ricky Taylor, Filipe Albuquerque and Will Stevens are back together again in the No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R GTP. Taylor and Albuquerque will continue pursuit of another Rolex 24 race win to add to their rolodex and Stevens is challenging for his first timepiece. For 2026, the No. 10 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R GTP hits the front straight in a fresh bold metallic blue, reminiscent of their 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans livery.
Teammates Jordan Taylor — a three-time Rolex 24 winner — and Louis Delétraz return for the third year in a row. Cadillac Formula 1 Team test driver and FIA Formula 2 competitor with Hitech Racing, Colton Herta, completes the No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R GTP lineup. Herta’s reunion with his teammates at WTR comes after first driving for the team back in 2024 where he contributed to the iconic 12 Hours of Sebring victory and a Rolex 24 podium. In a new shiny black and white livery, the No. 40 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R trio will be searching to repeat their previous success.
“I'm happy, excited, motivated, and passionate about us being competitive at Daytona this year,” said Team Co-Owner, Wayne Taylor. “And I do believe we will be. We have a great crew, a great team, and great partners, with Cadillac, DEX, and my partner – Dan Towriss. The cars liveries have changed and are spectacular. We’ve had a chance to do some testing with the new bodywork, we have hired more people, and everybody seems more focused than ever. Ricky, Filipe and Will in the No.10 Cadillac with the same lineup and Jordan, Louis and Colton in the No. 40. I don't think we could have got a better group of guys.”
The Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R GTPs will participate in the three test days from January 16-18, 2026, for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 in preparations for the race one week later. The endurance classic, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, will take place on January 24-25, 2026.
Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing Driver Quotes
Ricky Taylor, full season co-driver, No. 10 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “After the off season, I am very excited to see my teammates again and get back to working in person. It’s been a lot of Teams calls, planning, and work for the guys at the shop, but to be together on track to start a fresh new year is very motivating. We start the year with a clean slate and a strong plan, and it all kicks off at the Roar.”
Filipe Albuquerque, full season co-driver, No. 10 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “Obviously always looking forward to Daytona. It's starting the New Year. A lot of preparation from WTR in the off season. We have the jokers on the Cadillac, so I'm really excited to see the evolution but also from our competitors as well. I think we will only know the true speed of each one when we are on track with everybody at the same time. A new car livery, a new helmet, new suit, it’s like starting from zero. A fresh start is always great. It’s all motivation to go on into a very competitive championship with Cadillac and Wayne Taylor Racing.”
Will Stevens, IMEC co-driver, No. 10 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “Really can’t wait to get 2026 started. It’s been nice to have a few weeks off to recharge the batteries and coming off a good test in Daytona in November, we are ready to hit the ground running come the Roar. There are quite a few new things on our Cadillac V-Series.R for 2026 and I am excited to see how that all pans out across the Daytona 24 hours. It feels nice going into such a big race with consistency in our lineup in the 10 car and hopefully we can come away with a great result.”
Jordan Taylor, full season co-driver, No. 40 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “Daytona is always my favorite two weeks of the year. It’s only an hour from where I live and grew up, so it always feels like I’m home when I go there. The team has been flat out prepping and getting ready for the ‘Big One’ and I feel like we have had a really great and productive off season. We have some strong new updates to the car as well as some fantastic new team members for 2026. We are coming into our second year with Cadillac. We learned a lot of good lessons over the 2025 season and had some really good tests the past few months, so I feel like we are way ahead of where we were last year. I can’t wait to get started.”
Louis Delétraz, full season co-driver, No. 40 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “The off season was short, but everyone at Wayne Taylor Racing and Cadillac have worked hard to find every tenth of a second we can. Daytona is one of the most important and exciting races of the year. We’re bringing a few updates to the Cadillac GTP V-Series.R, so it will be interesting to see where we’ve improved compared to the competition. Starting the season with a 24-hour race is never easy, but with Jordan and Colton, I’m confident we can fight for the win and start the year strong.”
Colton Herta, IMEC co-driver, No. 40 Cadillac WTR V-Series.R: “I’m super happy to be back with WTR and very excited at another shot at an overall win at the Daytona 24! The Cadillac V-Series.R brings a new challenge for me, but one that for sure will be very enjoyable to drive and listen to from the pit stand. I’m looking forward to following Jordan and Louis into battle soon!”
