Alongside Taylor and Albuquerque in the No. 10 is a familiar face to the WTR family, Will Stevens as the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup (IMEC) co-driver. Completing the impressive driver lineup for the No. 10 is Brendon Hartley, who in his fourth year competing with WTR. After a difficult Rolex 24 At DAYTONA in 2024, Taylor, Albuquerque, Stevens and Hartley, all have their sights on a rebound result, especially for one that ends with a Rolex timepiece.

“We are very excited to kick off the new program with Cadillac,” said Team Owner, Wayne Taylor. “With our move back to Cadillac as a factory partner, we have also been able to secure a two-car commercial partnership with DEX (DEX Imaging). Daytona is a big event from a global perspective. In IMSA, we go racing before everyone else and have a short ‘off’ season to prepare. With our change in manufacturer, it makes a tall order, but we have done this before and have an incredibly committed team.”
The 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship officially begins tomorrow with three days of testing for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 through Sunday, January 19th. After the conclusion of the Roar Before the Rolex 24, Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will shift focus to the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, including the return of qualifying to race weekend on Thursday, January 23rd. The 63rd Running of the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA will see the green flag fly at 1:40 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 25th.
Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing Driver Quotes
Ricky Taylor, Full Season Co-Driver, No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“It has felt like a long time since Petit Le Mans and a lot has changed. We haven't had a lot of time with the new car so getting to Daytona is exciting on all fronts. The history of WTR and Cadillac is very strong at the Rolex 24. However, the GTP category is a very different challenge. But the car has proven its strength and WTR has also continually learned and evolved over time, so expectations are high for the team's return to Cadillac. I think we are approaching it by focusing on ourselves, we know what we can do but we have to make sure we stay out of our own way and not make any mistakes. The team is as strong as any and all the pieces are in place to have a very successful season, it is just about executing on race day. Usually, the Roar is a qualifying weekend so the focus is a bit more distracted, whereas this year we can focus on what is important for the race and learn our new car over the entire test. The car was very nice to drive in November, I still feel like we know very little about it and have a lot to learn. The main surprise was how differently two manufacturers approached the same problem of adapting to hybrid racing. Both strong approaches, but very different.”
Filipe Albuquerque, Full Season Co-Driver, No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“As another season goes on, the excitement is exactly the same, or even bigger, after so many years doing IMSA and racing, I am still excited as I was when I started. It’s a new project going on with Cadillac on board with Wayne Taylor Racing and great teammates; everything just looks perfect for the new start of the season. Everyone is super excited to go on this new adventure and everyone is highly motivated to go for wins and that’s all we want when we start a season. The first impression with the Cadillac V-Series.R car and the people was great, but it also means there is a lot to do on the car and fine tuning, getting to know everybody, to learn the car, to find new ways to adapt to the car - especially for the WTR drivers since we are almost all new to the car. So we will need to take every minute on the track to learn and to be ready for the race, and even during the race we will be learning about the car in the race too. But that’s part of the game, so we are just excited to go on and get to the job.”
Will Stevens, IMEC Co-Driver, No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“I can’t wait to get the season going to be honest, our first test back in November seems a long time ago now and I feel we are ready to get this season underway. It's always nice to have a break over Christmas and the New Year to recharge the batteries ahead of a new season but I am raring to go now. I think our goal is always to win, there is no doubt that is a big challenge for us all with it being our first race with Cadillac and the challenges that will always present with everything being so fresh, but everybody is doing the most they can to be as best prepared for that challenge. I think it's actually pretty nice as now the Roar you can just focus on making sure we are covering everything we need to as a team before we start the race week. Previously you always have an eye on qualifying and that ultimately takes some focus away from just getting through everything so it will make the Roar a nice build up for sure.”
Brendon Hartley, Rolex 24 Co-Driver, No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“Kicking 2025 off with the Roar is hard to beat. It feels like heading back to a family gathering with WTR but with excitement of a new toy in the garage. I am yet to drive the Cadillac so the Roar will be important for me to get a few laps to learn all the systems and get up to speed. I’m looking forward to it.”
Jordan Taylor, Full Season Co-Driver, No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“Every year the off season seems to feel longer and longer. This off season is a bit different with how big of a change the team is undertaking. Changing manufacturers and moving shops up in Indy has kept the guys incredibly busy. Daytona is always such a great place to kick off the year of motorsport worldwide, and it’s right in my backyard, so I can’t wait to get started. I think the approach for us is the same as always. The level of competition has always been high, and our job has always been to maximize what we have and what we have control of. Having said that, as the competition gets stronger, the success is always sweeter. It’s nice that the qualifying session has been moved to race week. It allows us to have some extra time during the Roar to just focus on our test items. Every lap that we can do in our new car is valuable, so we’ll try to make the most of it before race week begins. There was a lot to learn as a team during the November test. I think the biggest surprise was how quick everyone was able to get up to speed and get comfortable with things. There was so much for us to learn. Everything is new to us compared to what we were using in 2024, but it is great to be back with Cadillac and Dallara. Lots of familiar faces that we’ve had so much success with in the past.”
Louis Delétraz, Full Season Co-Driver, No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“I’m extremely excited to start the season at Daytona. It feels like forever since Petit Le Mans. Obviously, we have a very exciting challenge with our new partner in Cadillac Racing. We got very busy over the winter to test the car, already testing at Daytona in November. Learning all the new procedures and meeting all the new people has been really exciting. There are a lot of people with a lot of talent so I think it’ll be fantastic. My expectations are high, of course, but I think we have to be humble as always with the Rolex 24. Cadillac Racing and Wayne Taylor Racing have always been winners and we, as drivers, also want to win, so we will definitely push for that as much as we can. It’s an important weekend. We’ll approach the race as we need to survive for as many hours, then the last three to four hours we are going to fight very hard to get that win and maximize our potential for our first race. At the test in November, the first time I jumped in the Cadillac V-Series.R, I think the sound of the car - as many fans know is incredible - is even better from inside the car. Working with Cadillac Racing has been great and a very smooth integration. We are all trying to help each other and learn and move forward as fast as we can to be fast as possible on track which is all that matters. That’s actually very exciting. The car has been really fun to drive. It has been fast and has potential to do more.”
Alex Lynn, IMEC Co-Driver, No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“Really looking forward to Daytona 2025, it’s always a great race to start the season. I think joining Wayne Taylor Racing again, it’s a team that has a lot of success and a team that turns up to every race fighting to try to win and that’s what I am about as a driver. I’m looking forward to getting out there and helping the No. 40 car fight for a Daytona victory.”
Kamui Kobayashi, Rolex 24 Co-Driver, No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R
“I am very appreciative to be with WTR. It is a great opportunity for me to drive again for Cadillac and WTR and I always look forward to the excitement of the Daytona 24 hours. Wayne Taylor has a special spirit. He is always looking to win. He knows how to build a team that can
