2014 Corvette Racing FIA WEC Qualifying Report

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 19, 2014) – The No. 65 Konica Minolta/Michelin Chevrolet Corvette C7.R will start seventh Saturday in the GTE Pro class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) race at Circuit of The Americas. Tommy Milner and Jordan Taylor posted a combined average laptime of 2:08.674 around the 3.4-mile, 20-turn layout in qualifying ahead of the Six Hours of Circuit of The Americas.   Read more >

Jordan Taylor Replacing Magnussen in No. 3 Corvette C7.R

ALTON, Va. (Aug. 24, 2014) – Jordan Taylor will replace Jan Magnussen in Corvette Racing’s No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R for today’s Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway. Magnussen was involved in a multi-car crash during Saturday’s practice session for this weekend’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship round and experienced concussion-like symptoms afterward. As a precaution, both Magnussen and Chevrolet Racing management agreed that the safest course of action is to have Magnussen sit out the race.   Read more >
