Wayne Taylor Racing announced their return to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Championship, fielding four cars among three categories of classes. As the cool temperatures fell upon Daytona International Speedway, Louis Delétraz and Filipe Albuquerque were poised to capitalize on the weather to try and earn the top spot at the front of the GTP grid. Within the first few minutes of the 15-minute session, a red flag was displayed for a competitor stopped on track. Full season co-driver, Trent Hindman, handled the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 for the 15-minute qualifying session in the 22-car GTD field.
