As the cool temperatures fell upon Daytona International Speedway, Louis Delétraz and Filipe Albuquerque were poised to capitalize on the weather to try and earn the top spot at the front of the GTP grid. Within the first few minutes of the 15-minute session, a red flag was displayed for a competitor stopped on track. Full season co-driver, Trent Hindman, handled the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 for the 15-minute qualifying session in the 22-car GTD field. Preparations for the Rolex 24 come on the heels of the annual Roar Before the Rolex 24 that featured three days of testing.
